Partners
SHIFT includes seven partners from four Countries (Belgium, Italy, Poland and United Kingdom) that ensure variety of cultural approaches, balancing large and small, Nordic, Eastern and Southern countries.
The partnership includes HEIs, private sector and non-governmental organization: such diversity allows to capture the various aspects of financial inclusion, access and participation to HE.
The partnership represents also different levels of experience in Erasmus+, with two partners new to the action.
The quality of the partnership is strengthened by the type of partners involved, each representing specifically relevant methods, skills and competencies, ensuring a sound and thorough approach for complete and reliable outputs.
Partners are endowed with the necessary profiles and professionals who guarantee relevant experience and expertise to deliver on the various aspects of the project (i.e. analytical, design, operational, technical, managerial).
The partnership capitalises on sectorial, geographic, thematic and technical diversity of partners, each brining a specialised perspective, expertise and knowledge.
Founded in 1895 and a University since 1966, Aston is a long established research-led University known for its world-class teaching quality and strong links to industry, government and commerce. Aston University is home to approximately 9,500 students and is based in the centre of Birmingham, one of Europe’s liveliest and most welcoming cities. Aston has been a leading university for graduate employment success for over 25 years.

Durham University, founded in 1832, has an excellent worldwide reputation in all areas of arts, humanities, natural and social sciences. The Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires asbl (IHF) is a non profit organisation established in Brussels since 2003.
IHF promotes collaborative networks with partners (including non profit organisations and local authorities) for the provision of specialised training on European policies and the dissemination of values of European integration.
CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research is an independent, non-profit institute founded on the idea that research-based policy-making is vital for the economic welfare of societies. Established in Warsaw in 1991, CASE today is recognized as the top think tank in Central and Eastern Europe (according to the University of Pennsylvania Global Go To Think Tank Index) and is one of the most highly regarded think tanks internationally.
IDP is a service and training company specialised in EU funding established in 1996 by professionals working since 1991 in Brussels in the frame of EU policies and EU funding programmes, providing 25 years of direct experience in EU funding.
With offices in Italy and Brussels, IDP has a proven track record in the development, submission and management of EU funded international collaborative projects in a wide range of thematic areas such as innovation, finance, entrepreneurship and education.
